President Kim Cassidy of Bryn Mawr College wrote an inspiring blog post on the Women in Public Service Institute and the role of Bryn Mawr College in women’s advancement.
“As I listened to the delegates and presenters share their experiences and knowledge, I was struck by how fitting it was for the College to be hosting this institute. The goals of the WPSP—creating new opportunities for women to lead and to serve their societies— strongly align with Bryn Mawr’s founding principles and enduring commitments.
The institute also made me realize what an incredible set of resources we have to share that we often take for granted because they are the fabric of our identity. This event provided an opportunity for Bryn Mawr faculty and staff members (supported by several of our students) to share their scholarly and professional expertise as they planned many of these sessions and led discussions.”
